Load your replacement presentation into Flicker. To edit the information that appears in the This flick window, click on the item you wish to edit. The padlock will spring open. Click again and text can now be entered where appropriate. Format is a toggle between Slide show and Film show. The AutoAdvance on loading is another toggle but will only be accessible if the file loaded into Flicker was a Slide show (to prevent animations accidentally being flagged as presentations). The Frame count, Frame size and Memory information are not adjustable by the user. Flicker determines these directly from the flick file.
At this point you may wish to close the padlock by clicking on it. Only when this is done is the original information overwritten by the new. If the flick is now saved and inspected in !Paint, the sprite 'music' will be found to contain the updated information.
Adding a soundtrackAs we move onto sound you may simply wish to add one of the tracks from Notable Computations or Tunes from the Chip to your presentation. This is easy. With your presentation loaded into Flicker, simply play the tune you would like to add. Close the padlock, and Save flick. If you prefer, save it as a sprite from the upper vision part of the Projection menu. Next time you run your presentation, the replacement soundtrack will play.
On the next page a tracker file downloaded from the internet will be converted to a flune file by Flicker. These flune files can then be played by Flicker and used as soundtracks if desired.
